KYMMA - Keeping You, Me, and Memories Alive, Inc.

KYMMA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides aid and support to residents of Central New Hampshire who are coping with cancer.

OUR 15th ANNUAL DAY TO FIGHT CANCER IS A SUCCESS!

PSU President Sara Jayne Steen and Megan Cooley, Miss New Hampshire 2014 at KYMMA's Day to Fight Cancer KYMMA's 15th Annual Day to Fight Cancer was held Saturday, September 20, 2014 adjacent to PSU Physical Education Center.

♥ Thanks to everyone who participated! ♥

We raised nearly $20,000 to aid and support residents of Central New Hampshire who are coping with cancer.

There was live entertainment and family fun, a 50-Yard Stiletto Heels Dash, face painting, bubble station, tie-dying, Dollar Sale, Silent Auction, and Glow in the Dark Zumba!

Those who raised at least $50 received one of KYMMA's Day to Fight Cancer t-shirts.

There were many ways to participate: Register to walk. Purchase a luminary. Dedicate a dove. Volunteer. Help Promote!

2014 Book Awards - "How Has Cancer Affected My Life?"

The 2014 Joan Merrill Book Award and the 2014 Michelle Morse Book Award were awarded to students at Plymouth State University (PSU) in the form of a $500 gift certificates to be used for textbooks and/or supplies for the Fall 2014 semester.

Students at PSU who are living with cancer, or have a close family member with cancer, were eligible to apply for these awards. All applicants were reviewed equally in response to the question, "How has cancer affected my life?"

2014 Plymouth Regional High School Scholarship Award

KYMMA presented a $500 Scholarship Award to Marykate Melanson, a senior at Plymouth Regional High School (no relation to KYMMA President Kathryn Melanson), on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at a special event in the Plymouth State University Cultural Arts Center.

Benefiting the People of Central New Hampshire

Now in our 15th year of community service, Keeping You, Me, and Memories Alive (KYMMA) benefits people in Central New Hampshire, including, but not limited to, residents of Ashland, Alexandria, Bath, Benton, Bridgewater, Bristol, Campton, Danbury, Dorchester, Ellsworth, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Lincoln, New Hampton, Piermont, Plymouth, Rumney, Thornton, Warren, Waterville Valley, Wentworth, and Woodstock.

Thanks to the support of our friends and neighbors, we've raised about $244,000 through our "Day to Fight Cancer" event over the past 15 years.

Over the past three years, we've issued gifts to over 150 local families to help with groceries, gas, heating oil, back-to-school clothes and supplies, furnace repairs, and utility bills.
